CHALLENGE

Polkadog tapped NEWHOUSE to develop and execute a strategic, gratis influencer marketing campaign hyper-focused on micro and macro influencers, to help drive sales and promote Polkadog’s signature and original Cod Skins and Cod Skins Shorties. NEWHOUSE identified influencers that fit the Boston-based brand’s key messaging points and would be interested in supporting the responsibly-sourced, sustainable dog and cat treats. We strategically pegged the timing of this campaign to World Oceans Day in June, to drive home the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

Polkadog has been handcrafting gourmet dog treats in Boston since 2002. To help introduce the company to new customers beyond its core New England audience, we created a series of videos inspired by the products and people behind the brand.

Newhouse produced the series from first draft to final cut, capturing content at Polkadog’s headquarters. The pieces launched with a cross-channel campaign targeting strategic expansion markets, resulting in Polkadog’s biggest quarterly growth of new customers to date.
